Hours: 4 days per week* Monday-Thursday; 9:00am – 12:00pm; 2:00pm – 3:00pm Tuesday & Thursday also needed (can be split into two positions, if needed)
Salary: Salary range is $15 - $20 per hour of instruction, based on experience

End Date: May 26, 2021

*Note that these dates are the dates of the school year itself. The contract begins August 1st and ends July 31st of the following year (pay periods are twice per month for a full year). Please also note training times required below.
Arborbrook Christian Academy in Matthews, NC is seeking a Physical Education teacher. The position includes planning lessons, instructing and supervising appropriate organized play, and engaging with students and parents in a positive way. Our school is a four-day a week Christian school (no school on Fridays). This is a part-time, hourly position.
The basic job description includes the following:
Conduct daily PE classes for grades Kindergarten – 6th grade (20-minute classes).
Conduct twice weekly PE classes for grades 7-8 (45-minute classes).
Be a good role model for students.
During this season, our focus for all students will be on fitness for all. This position requires a knowledge of fitness and how to get children moving toward greater fitness.
